SummerGen Fabulosity!
I just unwrapped the spn_summergen fic written from my promptS (yes, Brilliant Author managed to squeeze in ALL my requests, I do believe!) and I'm beside myself with awe. The prose is elegant, you get sucked into each and every character's motivations, there's hurt, there's comfort, there's a kick-ass level of blood and gore (which I so very dig; is that gross?) and I honestly couldn't be more satisfied!

Please to get yourself over there and do the readin's: The Devil's Heart

Someone took the time to do the research and gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm really touched where my heart lub-dubs. :D This fic will get artsy stuff; it is prophesied.

THIS is why I still mod summergen, in spite of all the stress it gives me every year and not being able to take a summer holiday 'cause I have to post a fic every day. Seeing the comments when someone gets a story that hits their buttons just right puts a big smile on my face even though I didn't write it.

I'm so glad you got a story you love :)

Thanks SO much for all your hard work, if no one tells you often enough!

Yep, I got a story I totally love. It was perfect. Makes me wish I'd have worked harder on the one I did. Next year! :D

I know! I MUST find time to capture some of this into visuals. Because it is simply too delicious. Obviously, someone knows me and I can't pin down who it is. I will shower them with lovin's when all is revealed!

In this case, yes! The way it works when you sign up for SummerGen is you submit 3 or 4 prompts you'd love to see filled, and in return, you get someone else's set of prompts, matched up by the mod of the comm.

Then you write a "gift" for your recipient. The results are posted anonymously, one a day, but at the very end the mod will reveal all the posters. Kinda like a big Secret Santa event!

It's SO much fun, lemme tell ya. It drags you out of your comfort zone, and you get fic written to your specifications. I absolutely LOVE doing these exchanges! Go to the comm and check out the other offerings! http://spn-summergen.livejournal.com/
