One Hundred Days of Happy - Day 21
Staining paper with coffee to work on new drawings...happy! (I would bathe in coffee if it were the least bit practical.)

Do you sit there sniffing the paper while you're drawing then? Hee!

No, I would NEVER do that! Ever. Honest........

New drawings make me happy. Also, coffee. All the coffee, everyday all day, forever ❤

Oooh. I need to try that... I think the staining would also do some interesting things to the tooth/texture of the paper as well.

Word of advice: use reeeeally sturdy paper. My 140 lb. watercolor paper is pulling up a bit. I do love the weathered texture, though! Gotta play with it a little more.

Yay for both staining paper with coffee and new art in the making💖

It wasn't the raging success I'd hoped it'd be; I gotta play with the ground and what'll work best with the technique a bit yet. I think my watercolor paper is a tad thin and I'll have to get a sturdier weight. But it's fun playing! I'll post it over on Instagram when I can get my scanner to talk to my computer again, blarrrrg.
