I must say, I really liked the Escher-like poster for it....

It was awesome! Very Supernatural - I laughed at [Spoiler (click to open)] the clown and the unicorn impaling the dude :) And all the syuff about Fate and Free Will and people being force to play their roles, and the hungry, Chtulhu-esque Elder Gods below it all.

Highly recommended.

I fail at spoiler-tags, sorry!

:D I always forget spoiler tags! That 'click to open' thingy is mighty nifty...

I've heard that a few times now! :D I hope I can avoid spoilers until it's released here /o\

I saw it last week with Mel. Vintage Joss and so good. I fell in love at the Hellraiser reference - if I'd been on that crew, that would have been my bet *g*

Although it was very good, it's one of those movies I wouldn't want to see twice. But I think I may have to...I wanna watch in slow-mo and see if I can pick up all the references.

That's exactly what my two friends did (who had seen it once already): look for all the refs.

BTW, my money would've been on the Hellraiser-esque guy too. He was delightful! Either that or the unicorn. (SPN nod? Maybe? :D)

Oh, before I even saw the guy! (Though they did do a fantastic job with not!Pinhead.) It was the puzzle box in the cellar. I was just dying for the boy who picked it up to solve it because...well, I daresay you know the franchise.

The unicorn might have been SPN, yeah. Though with the significance of the Virgin to the scenario it could have been meant to highlight it (that would be more like Joss). I spotted nods to most of the major franchises - I think I actually squealed at the Friday the 13th arrow-in-the-throat, that's my fave! But I didn't spot Freddy. Slight disappointment there...or did I blink at the wrong moment and miss him?
